Advisor
- College Corps Coalition
Committed to ‘thinking globally and acting locally,’ breidi cares deeply about climate action, education, and food security, three College Corps focus areas. She is fulfilled by supporting Fellows doing such important community engagement work in the Yolo County area just as she loved her own service-learning experience in Mexico while in graduate school. Prior to her time at the School for International Training, where she earned a M.A. in Social Justice in Intercultural Relations, she went to UC San Diego and studied Communications, Linguistics and Spanish. In her senior year, she participated in the Intercampus Visitor Program to UCD and had more fun in one quarter at UC Davis than she did in all four years at UCSD!
After completing her education, she lived abroad, worked in educational non-profits, and found her way to UC Berkeley where she worked at International House for 10 years before making the switch to UC Davis in 2017. Since then she has been supporting undergrads to find their pathways, and to serve, learn, and make lasting impacts on the community and the world. She believes wholeheartedly in the mission of the program, and feels fortunate to be able to work as an advisor for College Corps.
